
Abdullah Bin Souqat, Member, Board of Trustees of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, opened today the 3rd Pedia Dubai International Conference in Pediatrics and Neonatology, being held in Dubai under the theme "A Healthier Life for Next Generation" .
The medical forum is being held under Patronage of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences and in collaboration with Rak Medical and Health Sciences University, RAKMHSU.
Over two-days, a group of 400 consultants and professors of pediatrics and neonatology from the United Arab, GCC, US, Europe and Australia will discuss a wide range of topics including Neuropsychological Impact of The Internet, Novel Antibiotics, Nutrition And Brain Development, Childhood Obesity, Nutrition and Brain Development, Protecting Neonatal Brain Health, Nutrition In Preterm, Psychiatry & Behavioral Health and Vaccination.
Organisers say participants will be granted 22.5 CME hours accredited by the Ministry of Health and Prevention and Dubai Health Authority.
The overall scientific theme "A Healthier Life for Next Generation" has been chosen to advocate the changing position of children in our world, to showcase world-class and holistic healthcare for children, and to build bridges for collaboration and sharing of knowledge.
Delegates will be updated regarding how to engage child-centered approaches within Neonatology and Pediatric clinical and health-related evidence based practice.
