A man in Dubai chose a unique way of proposing to a girl for marriage. Instead of making lavish arrangements on a beach, hotel or any resort, the boy, Shelton, proposed to the girl inside a fire station.
He was dressed in a firefighter uniform "to assure his fiancée of his readiness to overcome any challenges they might face in life's journey".
The event was held at Emirates Martyrs Fire Station and was arranged with the help of firefighters.
The pictures of the event were shared by the couple and the fire station on the Instagram.
"In a beautiful first-if-its-kind gesture, Emirates Martyrs fire station hosted engagement party of a couple who decided to celebrate their event in the fire station. The man donned the firefighter uniform to assure his fiancée of his readiness to overcome any challenges they might face in life's journey. This act comes within fire stations community initiatives," the Instagram post reads.
