
The Dubai Strategic Plan 2015-20121 has today been launched under the patronage of UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum
Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani attended the inauguration ceremony following an invitation from Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Heads of international organisations, ministers, officials and guests were also present.
Dr. Zayani hailed the launch of the blueprint which, he said, reflects the strenuous efforts of the UAE to spearhead humanitarian work and support relief aid and social organizations.
He lauded the pivotal role of Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum to bolster the standing of the United Arab Emirates in promoting humanitarian work on the international arena.
He also underscored the importance of the initiatives which were launched as part of the strategic plan 2015-2021, citing particularly the establishment of the World Crisis Response Advisory Council and the World Human Forum and other schemes
