
Egyptian Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Hani Salah said the mission of the World Bank in Kinshasa has issued a book on cooperation between the German government and the French Development Agency (AFD) on the environment projects in DRC from 2004 till 2015.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday, the ambassador said the book listed Egypt as one of the most important donors that offer grants to DRC through "the integrated administration of water resources project" to which Egypt offered 10.5 million dollars.
He added the project covers six stages the most important of which are the establishment of the first center for predicting climate changes in DRC, 30 subterranean wells across the republic in addition to the expertise exchange in the fields of agriculture and irrigation and training courses in capacity building.
