
Egypt was chosen to chair the executive bureau of the Council of Arab Social Affairs Ministers for two years as of 2015.
In exclusive statements to MENA Monday, Social Solidarity Minister Ghada Wali said that Qatar has submitted an official proposal to let Egypt take over the presidency of the executive bureau for two years.
All members of the executive bureau of the Council of Arab Social Affairs Ministers approved to this proposal, she added, noting that Sudan was elected as deputy head of the executive bureau.
The executive bureau of the Arab social affairs ministers include Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, Oman, Palestine, Qatar and Egypt.
