Egypt has strongly condemned the killing of Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh by Daesh militant group.
In statements on Tuesday, spokesman for Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Ati described the killing of Kasasbeh as "cowardly, barbaric and brutal".
"The crime goes contradictory to the values of Islam and all heavenly religions," he said.
The spokesman stressed Egypt's solidarity with the government and people of Jordan in the face of terrorism which seeks to destabilize the country.
He offered condolences to the family of the slain pilot and the Jordanian people.
