
Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry left here Wednesday for the Eritrean capital Asmara.
South Sudanese Foreign Minister Barnaba Benjamin saw off Shoukry and his accompanying delegation at the airport.
During his brief visit to Juba, Shoukry met with South Sudanese President Salva Kiir.
He also held talks with his South Sudanese counterpart on ways of boosting bilateral ties in the various fields.
They also discussed the current crisis in South Sudan and Egypt's mediation role in this respect.
Shoukry also paid a visit to a number of development projects, which are implemented by Egypt in South Sudan.
