
Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received on Saturday his Moroccan counterpart Salaheddine Mezouar after meeting with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi whom he handed a letter from Moroccan King Mohammed VI.
In a press release, Egypt’s Foreign Ministry said that the two ministers had talks after a breakfast banquet.
They agreed on following up the preparations for holding a meeting of a high-level joint committee.
They also discussed a number of regional issues including Israel’s escalation in Palestine, and the situation in Iraq, Libya and Syria.
