The Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that it is closely following up updates on the killing of a citizen in the UK.
According to spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid, the Egyptian Church in London reported that it found the body of Sherif Adel Michael, an Egyptian national, burned to death in a garage in Southall, suburban district of west London.
The Consul General in London, Ambassador Alaa Youssef, accompanied the citizen's father to a hospital to follow up the case, Abu Zeid said.
Youssef follows up the police investigations to know the reason behind the death, the ministry's spokesman added.
More details would be available soon, he concluded.
