
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met on Sunday in Cairo with his Italian counterpart Paolo Gentiloni ahead of a three-way foreign ministerial meeting with their Algerian counterpart to discuss the latest developments in Libya.
The meeting is expected to cover issues of common concern especially the Libyan crisis and bilateral relations.
The meeting three-way foreign ministerial meeting that will be held later in the day comes as part of continued consultations among Egypt, Algeria and Italy since the meeting held in Rome a few weeks ago.
Shoukry is expected to brief his two counterparts on the outcome of the Libyan tribes' forum that was recently held in Cairo.
