
Egyptian Ambassador in Beirut Badr el Din Zayed handed over on Monday a consignment of medical requisites presented from the Egyptian military hospital in Beirut to Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.
The handover took place at the medical center at Mary Ilias camp for the Palestinian refugees in the capital Beirut in the presence of Palestinian ambassador to Lebanon Ashraf Dabbour, and Egyptian military attache to Lebanon colonel Hossam Mohsen.
In statements, the ambassador said the consignment, which weighs more than 500,000 tons includes medical supplies for treatment of persons with critical cases and chronic diseases.
The ambassador expressed Egypt's commitment to help the Palestinians as one of the basic pillars of the Egyptian foreign policy.
