
Egypt presided over a meeting at the Arab League headquarters on Wednesday to discuss means to amend the constituent statute of the Arab League Peace and Security Council.
Egypt's permanent delegate to the Arab League Tarek Adel told reporters that the meeting aimed at reforming the Arab league agencies, pointing out that the recommendations will be referred to an Arab League committee entrusted with reforms.
For his part, Kuwait delegate to the League Aziz al Dihani asserted that consultations are under way to follow up the recommendations of the Arab summit which was held in Kuwait last year in preparation for referring them to the coming Arab summit in Egypt.
