Egypt rebuffs any military solution to Syrian issue

Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy reiterated his country's rejection of the use of force in Syria, stressing that there is no other option than the political solution. All partners in Syria should be engaged in political action, Fahmi told reporters at a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov. Lavrov expressed Russia's appreciation to the Egyptian stance towards the Syrian issue and its keenness on finding a peaceful settlement to the issue. He also stressed that the Syrian nuclear arsenal is being dismantled without any problem.
