
Egypt confirmed on Saturday the coordination with Oman and Saudi Arabia to facilitate the return of Egyptians living in Yemen to their country.
Omani and Saudi border authorities are is ready to receive Egyptian people wishing to leave Yemen, said Egyptian Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Bader Abdulaati.
He urged all Egyptian citizens in Yemen to stay away from all places of congregations.
Those who wish to return to the country and if the roads are safe, he said, they could drive to the Saudi or Omani borders.
The spokesman pointed out that the ministry consular sectors are working around the clock in tracking the situation of Egyptians in Yemen, through the operations room.
There are some 10,000 Egyptians living in Sanaa, Aden and some other cities.
