
Egypt has strongly condemned the killing a Palestinian toddler and seriously injuring four other family members after Israeli settlers burnt their house in the Palestinian city of Nablus.
In a press statement on Friday, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Aati conveyed condolences of the Egyptian leadership and people to the family of the slain toddler and to the Palestinian people.
Abdel Aati wished the injured family members a speedy recovery.
He called on the Israeli authorities to bear legal and humanitarian responsibilities toward Palestinians.
The spokesman urged the world community to take immediate action to provide security and protection for the Palestinian people.
