Egypt, Sudan presidents meet in Cairo

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met on Sunday with Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir at Cairo's Quba palace.
Egyptian and Sudanese foreign ministers attended the meeting, which was held before Bashir's departure to Khartoum.
It is the second meeting between the two leaders within two days.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has reiterated the deeply-rooted relations between the two states, saying the visit of the Sudanese president aimed at developing bilateral ties, Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
He added that the two leaders agreed to add presidential representatives to the joint committee to render its work a success.
"They also tackled the security situation in Libya, stressing support for the Libyan people and army," said the spokesman.
The Sudanese president, meanwhile, said he agreed with Egypt's president to put all disputes and differences aside and work for bolstering bilateral ties, the spokesman said.
He also urged mass media to play a role in forming people's tendencies at the present time, the spokesman added.
A number of under-construction projects between the two states and the four freedoms' agreement were also tackled during the meeting, according to the spokesman.
Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir left here earlier in the day for Khartoum, after a two-day visit to Egypt.
