Egypt, Sudan to cooperate in police training

Director General of the Sudanese Police Forces Hashem Othman al-Hussein has met with Consul General at the Egyptian Embassy Weaam Abdullah Sweilam to discuss support and development of ties between the two countries' police departments.
Emerging from the meeting on Sunday, Sweilam praised the role played by the Sudanese police in protecting the Egyptian diplomatic mission.
The police agencies in both countries cooperated a lot in the fields of establishing joint justice, the official said.
For his part, the Sudanese official praised the support shown by the Egyptian interior ministry to its Sudanese counterpart in the field of training.
