
Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab and Yemeni Vice President and Premier Khaled Bahah on Sunday witnessed the signing of several cooperation agreements
The agreements were signed at the end of the eighth session meetings of the Egyptian-Yemeni Higher Committee that was held at the Cabinet headquarters.
Cabinet spokesman Hossam Qawish said a security protocol of cooperation to coordinate efforts with regard to the fight against terrorism and drain its resources.
Egypt's Minister of International Cooperation Naglaa El Ahwany and her Yemeni counterpart Mohammed Abdul Wahid Al Maitami also signed agreements on executive programs for cooperation in the education, higher education, media and youth fields.
Bahah arrived in Cairo on Sunday from Saudi Arabia, leading a high profile delegation to discuss the latest developments in his country with Egyptian officials.
Earlier in the day, he also met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
