
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri held a telephone conversation with his Algerian counterpart Ramadan Al-Amamra and discussed regional issues which concern the two countries, stressing strategic bilateral relations.
Egyptian Foreign Ministry's Spokesperson Badr Abdul A'ati said that the two ministers discussed the situation unfolding in Libya and the multi-party negotiations which are underway in Genera under the UN supervision, in addition to the developments of the Palestinian cause.
The two sides have also discussed the developments in Syrian and the situation unfolding in Yemen and Iraq amid mounting challenges facing the Arab nation. The Egyptian spokesperson said that the two sides reviewed ways of bolstering bilateral relations and boosting joint cooperation.
