The Egyptian army killed three "terrorists" and arrested 21 others during a military operation in North Sinai governorate on November 26-28, the Military Spokesman Brig. Mohammad Sameer announced on Saturday.
"During the operation the troops destroyed 45 vehicles of various types, 63 motorcycles and a beach buggy for carrying no license plates which means that they could be used in attacks against the army and police forces," he said in a press release.
"The troops also destroyed 70 militant hotbeds, three automobile repair workshops and a shooting range used by terrorists as a training camp," Brig Sameer noted, adding that three roadside bombs were defused.
