Awqaf Ministry on Wednesday renewed warnings for its preachers, scholars and any of its employees over belonging to any banned groups or using preaching podiums for any election propaganda.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the ministry reiterated that it will take all decisive measures against anybody who proved to belong to a banned or extremist group and said he might face dismissal from work.
The statement also warned Awqaf employees to use mosques for election propaganda to any candidate, party or political current. Meanwhile, it asserted the importance of participation of all citizens in the elections and to choose the best for the upcoming parliament.
