Egyptian cabinet convenes to probe political, economic, security files

Meeting under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab Wednesday, the Cabinet discussed a number of political, economic and security files.
The meeting also tackled means of countering terrorism.
Participants reviewed preparations for Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) due to take place in Sharm el Sheikh on March 13-15.
A report on the conditions of Egyptians in Libya and efforts to facilitate their return to Egypt was also probed.
A report on Egypt's foreign policy is also on the agenda.
The ministers discussed efforts to attract foreign investments and a number of draft laws meant to achieve that.
They also discussed efforts to amend a number of laws on parliamentary elections.
