
Egyptian Consul in Riyadh Maged Nafei met with members of the Egyptian community in Hafr el Baten city, located 430 km north of Riyadh, to discuss their problems regarding work conditions and residence.
The meeting comes as part of Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry's directives to contact members of the Egyptian communities abroad.
In a statement released by the Foreign Ministry on Monday, the Egyptian consul said he met with officials in the passports authority, police and top officials in the city.
The consul also met with 13 Egyptian prisoners to get briefed on their conditions.
The visit by the consul was welcomed by the Egyptian community members in the city whose number reached 30,000 people.
