
An Egyptian consular delegation, under Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs Ambassador Hisham el Naqib, concluded Sunday a four-day visit to Kuwait.
The delegation gathered representatives of the ministries of interior, education, and finance, along with an envoy of the Egyptian church.
The visit came within directives of the Minister of Foreign Affairs to intensify contacts with Egyptian communities abroad.
The delegation met with several senior Kuwaiti officials.
The assistant foreign minister also held an extended meeting with representatives of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior to discuss problems faced by Egyptians in the country and ways to solve them.
The delegation also met the undersecretary of the Kuwaiti ministry of higher education to discuss issues related to promoting bilateral cooperation in the field of education.
They also met with a large number of Egyptian expats in Kuwait to discuss their problems.
