
The Egyptian embassy in Abuja held a reception marking the anniversary of July 23 Revolution, said a statement released by the Egyptian embassy.
Permanent Secretary of the Nigerian Foreign Affairs Ministry attended the celebration on behalf of Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari.
A raft of Nigerian officials and foreign diplomats were present at the celebration.
During the celebration, Egyptian Ambassador in Abuja Ashraf Abdel Qader Salama hailed as strong relations binding between Egypt and Nigeria.
Salama stressed that both countries have faced the same black terrorism, which knows no boundaries or religion.
Both countries insist on moving forward for more cooperation in the field of combating terrorism and other fields.
