The Egyptian Foreign Ministry denied on Sunday reports that Jordan withdrew the Arab draft resolution on the situation in Libya.
These are groundless reports, Ministry Spokesman Badr Abdel Aatti said.
The draft is now subject to changes in terms of phrasing of some items, he added.
He made clear that the Security Council held a session on Friday at the level of permanent delegates to debate the draft and that it will hold another one, but at experts' level, on Monday to continue debates.
In the draft, Jordan calls for lifting the arms embargo on Libya to enable the country fight growing terrorism.
