The Egyptian Foreign Ministry started preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections regarding expatriates' ballots.
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry gave directives to the ministry's sectors to start preparations for the 2015 elections of the House of Representatives, which will start next month, to regulate expat voting.
The Foreign Ministry informed the High Elections Committee of forming election committees at 140 diplomatic missions worldwide to supervise the voting process of expatriates, it said in a statement Sunday.
The lower house polls will take place in two phases for expats on March 21 and 22, and April 25 and 26.
