Security forces continued a wide-scale campaign to clean fields of battles and checkpoints attacked by the terrorists in North Sinai while scores of hideouts used by militants were destroyed.
Five explosive devices, found by the military and police squads, were safely blown up while washing up roads leading to Arish, Sheikh Zuweid and Rafah, according to security sources.
Also, seven bodies and remains belonging to 17 dead terrorists were found during the campaigns.
The forces have found a coaxial weapon, seven machine guns, three RPG launchers, six explosive belts along with an anti-aircraft missile.
The telephone network has been back to order after more than 10-hour outage during the operation launched to confront the terrorists attacks in North Sinai.
