
A security source in the Jordanian general security directorate said that an Egyptian guard in one of the farmers in Madaba was killed Saturday by a number of unidentified men with a motivation to steal according to initial information.
The source told MENA corespondent here that the guard, 27, was shot in his chest and was hit on his head and killed instantly, adding that there are ongoing investigations to know the reasons behind the crime.
Another security source said that crime scene investigators are collecting information to track down the perpetrators, according to Jordanian media.
The body was referred to the forensic medicine, he noted.
