Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar lauded people's positive contributions to help security agencies foil many crimes.
Earlier Wednesday, the Interior Ministry gave green light for an initiative on publishing fugitives' names and photos so that if any citizen know anything about them, he can tell the police and, thus help arrest them.
During a meeting on Wednesday, he called for upgrading policemen's skills, improving security services through using up-to-date technology and entrenching the concepts of respecting human rights.
He extolled security forces' recent attacks on criminal hotbeds and arrest of many terrorists.
The minister underlined the importance of having a clear vision on dealing with security developments and intensifying campaigns to tighten security across the country.
