
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab attended on Monday the signing ceremony of a protocol to resolve the problems of slums.
The protocol was signed between Maan for developing slums and Cairo governorate.
The protocol is meant to resolve the problem of slums according to the latest scientific methods applied in world countries.
For his part, superstar Mohamed Sobhi, head of Maan board of trustees, said the protocol aims at creating new integrated societies to move the inhabitants of the slums to them.
This protocol is related to the project of integrated society, which is implemented in collaboration between Maan and Cairo governorate on an area of 60 feddans on Cairo-Ismailia desert road.
The project will include 5,000 housing units.
