
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab has inspected the blast scene of the National Security building in Shubra el Kheima.
Mahlab arrived at the scene following Friday prayers accompanied by the deputy head of Arab Contractors Company, which carries out the renovation work.
Mahlab assigned the company's officials to also renovate nearby buildings and facilities, which were damaged due to the blast.
In the wee hours of Thursday, a huge explosion occurred outside the national security branch of Shubra el Kheima, Qalyubia, when a booby trapped car exploded outside the four-storey building. Many nearby buildings were damaged.
