
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab ordered on Thursday the formation a committee tasked with outlining public services of importance to citizens in order to develop them.
The committee, to be chaired by the prime minister, will follow up the development of these services across the nation and mull best ways to achieve high rates at development projects, a statement by the cabinet said.
The Coordinating Committee for Services is also tasked with settling problems among the different ministries that might block services projects.
The housing minister was appointed as the committee's rapporteur.
The committee will comprise ministers of planning, local development, Awqaf, health, education, supply, electricity, environment, agriculture, transport and representatives from the defense and finance ministries
