A number of Egyptians are among the causalities of fireworks container fire in Amman, Jordan, said Jordanian Interior Minister Salama Hammad on Monday.
Earlier in the day, six people were killed and 12 others were injured when a container laden with fireworks caught fire in a Customs Department facility south of Amman.
The Egyptian embassy in Amman said that contacts with the Jordanian government are underway to identify the causalities.
Jordan's Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour rushed to the scene and ordered the formation of a panel to probe the circumstances of the blaze.
