
The Arab League (AL) Secretary General Nabil el Araby denied Sunday setting a new date for holding the joint meeting of the Arab defense and foreign ministers.
In statements, el Araby underlined that there are ongoing consultations about the meeting but there is no date for it till now.
Concerning the expected Saudi-US Summit, the AL chief underscored that the importance of that event, adding that the US and Saudi Arabia are great countries.
He hoped that this summit becomes successful, noting that there are some issues that needs consultations such as the Palestinian cause and the Syrian crisis.
El Araby reiterated that he wishes that the conflicting parties reach agreement in Libya, adding that he contacts United Nations Special Envoy to Libya Bernardino Leon on that regard.
