
US Ambassador in Washington Yasser Redha met with members of the Egyptian community in Pennsylvania and Ohio states.
The ambassador met with Egyptian physicians working in child hospitals in Petersburg and Cleveland cities where scores of Egyptian doctors working in them.
During the meeting, the Egyptian diplomat reviewed the latest developments that have recently took place in Egypt after the election of a new parliament, the last step of Egypt's future roadmap plan.
He also briefed them on the economic reforms adopted by the government and called on Egyptians in the US to contribute to the mega projects launched by the government that will bring about high profitability.
The members of the Egyptian community, which included businessmen, doctors and university professors, voiced appreciation for the ambassador's visit and asserted their readiness to train Egyptian doctors and make surgeries in Egypt's hospitals. They also promised to consider cooperation agreements between the American and Egyptian hospitals as part of the plans to development the healthcare and education systems in Egypt.
Also, some Egyptian businessmen promised to arrange for a visit by American businessmen to encourage foreign investments to Egypt in the current phase
