Darul Iftaa warned on Wednesday young women from responding to proposals by Daesh to get married to their militants through video conference.
Marriages cannot be concluded through video conference as they lack the main conditions that can make them valid contracts, said the only religious body in charge of issuing fatwas in Egypt.
Daesh terrorist group, now controlling swaths of Syria and Iraq, has called through the social media young women to marry their members through the video conference till they arrive where they are operating.
These calls violate Sharia and would drag young women to the cycle of extremism and terrorism, it said.
