
Egypt's Mufti Shawky Allam on Wednesday renewed his strong denunciation of US Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump's remarks to expel Muslims from the US.
Allam made the comments during a meeting with a high-profile delegation comprising 25 priests and members of the two most prominent Evangelical churches and their branches in the US, Canada and South Africa.
The delegation was accompanied by head of the Evangelical Community Andrea Zaki.
During the gathering, Allam expressed his dissatisfaction with Trump's call for banishing Muslims from the country, saying Muslims in America are part of the US community .
Also, Allam called on Muslims around the world to be active members in their societies and abide by all laws that regulate their lives in order to be a positive role model for Muslims.
