
The newly sworn in ministers convened on Saturday under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail to discuss preparation for the Greater Bairam, Cabinet Spokesman Hossam el Qawish said.
During the meeting, Ismail asserted the need to provide all services and commodities needed during the feast, spokesman said.
Also, Supplies Minister reviewed the government's plan to provide necessary products during the holidays, Qawish added.
The meeting also reviewed a security plan adopted by the interior ministry to maintain security of the citizens during the Bairam.
Ismail directed the minister of transport to go on with plans set for the development of river transportation.
The discussions covered the state strategy to meet the market's need of energy.
