
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Wednesday issued a decision appointing Ashraf Farouk Tammam as head of the Cabinet Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) for a one-year term.
In a press release, the center said that Tammam holds a bachelor degree in engineering from the Technical Military Academy in 1994. He later obtained an MA in 2004 and PhD in computer engineering from Ain Shams University in 2011.
He had held several posts in the Armed Forces, the Arab League and the United Nations and other prestigious institutions.
