In a kind gesture, Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab insisted to meet a team of engineers and technicians from the electricity ministry who managed to fix two electricity pylons in 6 October City in just three days instead of six.
The premier expressed his deep thanks to the team for working very hard to fix the vandalized pylons ahead of schedule.
Electricity Minister said 145 pylons were targeted by terrorists over the past period, noting that all of them were fixed.
The two pylons were detonated on Tuesday by unidentified men, causing a blackout at the nearby Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC) and forcing several satellite channels off air.
