Erekat urges immediate probe in executions against Palestinians

Secretary General of the Palestine Liberation Organization's Executive Committee Saeb Erekat called on Saturday on UN Special Rapporteur Arbitrary Executions Christopher Heinz to conduct immediate investigations on the killings and executions the Israelis were carrying out against Palestinians the few weeks ago.

In a press statement, Erekat said that they officially called on Heinz to conduct an investigations on such killings which Israel sponsored against the Palestinians.

The Palestinian official cited the photos and video clip for the Palestinian child Ahmaf Munasra who left bleeding in the street, while the Israeli forces prevented medical teams or ambulances from reaching him for help after he was attacked and beaten by cold weapons and batons from Israeli settlers.

He was just an unarmed Palestinian child and posed no threat, Erekat said, adding such acts were prohibited by any law.

He noted that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was deceiving the international community for justifying his oppression and repressive policies
