
Houthi leader Abdel Malek Houthi is said to be killed during the Saudi-led coalition shelling on the houthi positions in Yemen, Al-Arabiya reported quoting the Iranian Al Alam TV Channel as saying.
The Iranian news channel state television network announced the non-existent death of the rebel Houthi leader Malik Ali Houthi after being hacked overnight.
Spokesman from the channel called the cyber-attack against their site "psychological warfare" meant to raise the morale of opponent to the Shi'ite Houthi campaign to seize control of the country.
Meanwhile, a number of Saudi papers said Houthi was killed during shelling, but did not mention the sources of the news.
The houthi-affiliate Al Maseira TV channel remained silent over the news.
