
A delegation from the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry has participated in the 43th session of the Arab Labour Conference, which was held in Cairo under the auspices of Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
The delegation included Khalifa Khamis Mattar Al Kaabi, Member of the Board of Directors of the Federation and Chairman of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohammed Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Assistant Secretary-General of the Federation, and a number of senior officials.
The UAE's delegation participated in the sessions of the conference, which included discussions on a number of issues including a report by the Director-General of the organisation and the aspirations of the Arab Labour Organisation, as well as a report about activities and achievements of the organisations during 2015.
The Arab Labour Conference is held annually and attended by representatives of governments, businessmen from Arab countries and representatives of federations, Arab and international unions, businessmen and Arab labour organisations.
