Jordan's King Abdullah II on Sunday emphasized the importance of cooperation and coordination within a holistic approach among all regional and international parties to counter extremism and terrorism which threaten stability of the whole world, Jordan's official news agency (Petra) reported.
In a meeting with Special Presidential Envoy to the US-led anti-Daesh coalition Brett McGurk, the King reviewed latest developments in the war against the terrorist group and the coalition's efforts in this regard.
The meeting was attended by senior Jordanian officials and the US Ambassador in Amman.
