Upon receiving notification of the accident, 14 fire brigades, 13 backup units, eight rescue teams, two ambulances and an evacuation unit, rushed to the scene, said Maj. Mohammad Melfi Al-Hamadi, spokesman of Riyadh Directorate of Civil Defense. "The fire fighters battled against the blazing fire and heavy smoke to reach the people entrapped. After quelling the fire, they found 11 dead bodies," he said. "The fire has entirely destroyed the workshop covering an area of 600 square meters," Maj. Al-Hamadi added
