
Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail arrives in Riyadh Wednesday leading a high-level delegation to take part in meetings of the Egyptian-Saudi coordination committee which starts Wednesday.
Egyptian Ambassador in Riyadh Nasser Hamdy told MENA correspondent in the Saudi capital that the preparatory meetings of the committee session are underway, pointing out that the committee formation had been agreed upon during a meeting between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and King Salman.
According to the Egyptian diplomat, the committee meetings will discuss means of cementing cooperation between the two sides at the highest level.
The Saudi delegation to the meetings is chaired by deputy Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman. The Egyptian delegation includes Foreign Ministers Sameh Shoukry and Minister of Electricity Mohamed Shaker.
