Two young people and a woman died on Sunday in Zaghouan after the torrential rains and floods that struck the region. According to the Regional Director of the Disaster and Emergency Services in Zaghouan Lieutenant Colonel Jalloul Jaballah, two youths aged 17 and 20 have been found dead in a wadi located between Ennadhour and Ain Garci, and a woman died after the rise in the water level of wadi Essaboun, on the way leading to Hammamet. Mr. Jaballah told TAP news agency on the phone that the disaster and emergency services units had managed to save 8 people stuck in the wadi and have pumped water out of some 65 flooded houses.
