Free Egyptian Party supports Ganzouri electoral alliance

The liberal Free Egyptian Party on Wednesday expressed support for parliamentary electoral alliance formed by the former Prime Minister Kamal El-Ganzouri.
In a statement, the party said that it backs Ganzouri and is strongly confident in his choices, hoping that the alliance would choose candidates who are able to win trust and support of the Egyptian people.
The parliamentary run is not an occasion to achieve partisan gains, the statement read.
The elections are still pending the finalisation of a law which will redraw the country's electoral constituencies.
