Fuad Masum assures the Kuwaiti readiness to support Iraq

The President of the Republic Fuad Masum discussed on Friday at the UN headquarters in New York with Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah the political and security situation and the relations between the two countries.
A presidential statement today said that Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah expressed Kuwaiti support for the international mobilization against the IS, stressing that the joint interests of the two countries are great and should work to strengthen them and push them forward, also stressed Kuwaiti readiness to support Iraq in these circumstances.
The meeting took place in the presence of Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari and the Kuwaiti ministers of Foreign Affairs and oil Sabah Khaled Al-Sabah and Ali Al-Omair.
